Serbian White Eagles will play against Toronto Croatia in the CSL Championship Final.

The Toronto-based Serbian White Eagles advanced to CSL playoff final after a 2-1 victory over Trois_Riveres Attak at Esther Shiner Stadium Sunday.

The Eagles established their superiority in the first half with two goals from Zoran Kokot and one from Dragorad Milicevic.

Striker Sasha Viciknez missed a 44th minute penalty, which could have been 3-0.

The Trois-Rivieres team scored the only goal of the second half, when Nicolas Lesage put the ball into the net.

The venue for Championship Final is expected to be announced late Monday.

Serbian White Eagles advanced to the semifinals

Serbian White Eagles won quarterfinal match against Windsor Border Stars 2-1 in the CSL Championship playoffs on Sunday.

Scorers were Nikola Budalic and Zoran Kokot.

The semifinal match Serbian White Eagles vs. Trois-Rivieres Attak will be played at Esther Shiner Stadium in Toronto, on Saturday or Sunday, October 20/21.

Serbian White Eagles - Windsor Border Stars 3:0

Serbian White Eagles won 3-0 in the last match of the regular CSL season against Windsor Border Stars.

Indeed, their another winning was to secure the International Division title.

Striker Gabriel Pop scored all three goals at Centennial Stadium.

Serbian White Eagles - Toronto Croatia 1:1

The striker Gabriel Pop scored his 12th goal of the season for Serbian White Eagles as their longstanding city-mates derby clash with Toronto Croatia ended level at 1-1.

The first goal came early in the 23th minute for Croatia through Boris Tomac, when he finished a good passing play from Hayden Fitzwilliamsas .

Serbian White Eagles began the second period full of purpose, with a equaliser from Pop in the 60th minute. They had been looking to score before end of match.

Sasa Viciknez tested Croatia's goalkeeper George Azcurra, with a shot from free-kick, but he nearly missed the target.

Approximately 2.000 spectators watched the game at Centennial stadium in Toronto.

Brasilian Neto signed White Eagles

The Serbian White Eagles have acquired Brasilian forward 27-year old Osni Purificacao Neto. He is first new player on the squad for 2007.
Neto played for Brasil U-20 (7 matches) and for several Brasilian clubs, including Vasko de Gama and Palmeiras. .

Serbian White Eagles were strong favourites to win the CSL title, but Italians played as a team in this championship match.
